The "California" roll also stands out for its healthy ingredients. The rice, nori, avocado, cucumber, and crab that make up this dish essentially render it diet-friendly. It’s also better to avoid the sauces. Additionally, the expert suggested the "Maguro" roll.
“The word 'Maguro' in the name indicates that the roll contains tuna. It is well-known that this fish is the best source of omega-3. Moreover, this dish is high in protein and contains almost no fat, unlike rolls that are overloaded with sauce,” the specialist explained.
At the same time, Rumyantseva urged caution with rolls that have the word "crispy" in their name.
“This may indicate the presence of fried onions or tempura flakes in the ingredients. Rolls with flavor additives such as cream cheese, bacon, and mayonnaise-based sauces can also be harmful,” the expert warned.
