I have reached the title, and there is only one step left; I need to win the fight and become the champion. I will do everything in my power. I want to make the fans and my team proud. In the fight, it will be clear who is stronger. But I want to take the title," Rakhmonov stated in an interview with NAIZA TV.

For Belal, this will be his first title defense, which he won in July when he defeated British fighter Leon Edwards (22-4) by unanimous decision.

For Shavkat, who is ranked third in the UFC welterweight rankings, this will be his first fight in 2024.
