The UFC has announced the winner of the title fight between Shavkat Rahmonov and Belal Muhammad.

The top UFC welterweight fighter from Britain (22-3) shared his prediction for the upcoming fight between the division champion, American (24-3), and the undefeated Kazakhstani fighter (18-0), as reported by .

"I still believe that Belal is the favorite. Many people are betting on Shavkat, but I’m going to go in the opposite direction. I think Belal might surprise some people. He needs to stay on his feet and be cautious of Shavkat's takedowns because Shavkat's grappling is just insane. So, he needs to be careful about when Shavkat goes for those takedowns.

But I think Belal can be the aggressor in this fight. Shavkat isn’t used to fighters who come at him and engage with their heads held high. Jeff Neil was one of those fighters, and look at how that fight turned out—it was much closer than expected. So, I believe Belal can take this fight," Page said in an interview with Ariel Helwani.

It’s worth noting that the fight between Rakhmonov and Muhammad will take place on December 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA, and will headline UFC 310.

For Belal, this will be his first title defense, which he won in July when he defeated British fighter Leon Edwards (22-4) by unanimous decision.

For Shavkat, who is ranked third in the UFC welterweight division, this will be his first fight of 2024.
