In Almaty, in the main event of the Octagon 65 mixed martial arts evening, Kazakh fighter Nurzhan Akishev (16-4-1), nicknamed "Bison," faced off against Uzbek fighter Mavlonbek Mirkomilov (6-2-1), as reported by Vesti.kz.

In this match, the interim title of Octagon league champion in the lightweight division was contested solely for the fighter from Kazakhstan, as Mirkomilov entered the fight with a yellow card due to missing weight.

The bout lasted all five rounds and concluded with Mirkomilov winning by unanimous decision from the judges.
