The title fight between Rakhmonov and Muhammad has been canceled, as the UFC has found replacements for them.

Recently, it was announced that the UFC welterweight champion, an American of Palestinian descent (24-3), has withdrawn from the last numbered event of the year, scheduled for December 7 in Las Vegas (USA) - the UFC 310 event, according to Vesti.kz .

He was supposed to make his first title defense against the undefeated Kazakh fighter (18-0). However, their fight has been canceled. Later, Belal Shavkat Rakhmonov explained his withdrawal.

According to insider information, Rakhmonov will also not compete on the card. Although Shavkat himself expressed his willingness to fight any contender for the interim title at UFC 310.

Meanwhile, MMA Mania reports that the UFC has already found a replacement for them. The promotion reached out to light heavyweight champion, Brazilian Alex Pereira (12-2), and offered him a fight against Dagestani Magomed Ankalaev (19-1-1).

Earlier, Pereira had planned to take a break from fighting. The Brazilian set a record this year for the fastest three consecutive successful title defenses in UFC history (Jamahal Hill, Jiří Procházka, and Khalil Rountree in 175 days).
