A cartoonist specializing in creating animated content focused on martial arts has released a video on their YouTube channel dedicated to the cancellation of the championship fight in UFC between the undefeated Kazakh fighter (18-0) and the current welterweight champion (24-3-0-1), as reported by Vesti.kz.
Mojahid Fudailat Shavkat Rakhmonov Belal MuhammadAccording to the plot, Muhammad, fearing a confrontation with Rakhmonov, takes a desperate step and injures himself by hitting his leg with a hammer.
UFC President Dana White appears, clearly hoping for Belal's defeat, and becomes furious upon learning of the incident. In a fit of rage, he first assaults Muhammad and then delivers bad news to Rakhmonov.
Soon, White devises a plan to organize a fight for the interim title between Shavkat and Kamaru Usman, along with an exciting match between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev at the same event.
Their bout was scheduled to take place in December in Las Vegas (USA) at UFC 310. However, the day before, Muhammad withdrew from the fight, citing illness as the reason. Rakhmonov himself expressed his willingness to fight for the interim title against any other contender in December.
Previously, two other top-10 division fighters had called out Shavkat: Irishman Ian Machado Gary (15-0) and American Joaquin Buckley (20-6).
Additionally, former UFC welterweight champion Nigerian fighter Kamaru Usman (20-4) has shown interest in a match against the undefeated Kazakh.
