A Kazakh fighter delivered a stunning knockout to an Uzbek opponent in an MMA match.

In Almaty, the Octagon 65 mixed martial arts evening took place, where Kazakh fighter Ilzat Asiev (3-0) faced off against Uzbekistan's Bekhruz Isroilov (2-0), as reported by Vesti.kz.

The event was held at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace and concluded in the very first round. Asiev delivered a powerful knee strike that sent Isroilov to the mat, after which he began to finish off the stunned opponent. The referee intervened and stopped the bout.

In the main event of the tournament, Kazakhstan's Nurzhan Akishev (16-4-1) will compete against Uzbekistan's Mavlonbek Mirkomilov (6-2-1) for the interim lightweight championship title.
