The title fight in the featherweight division ended in the first round when Kabdrakhmanov, the favorite, was struck by a devastating blow and finished off on the ground.

Following this shocking defeat, Kabdrakhmanov lost his title, but it was not awarded to Kiosse, as the Russian failed to make weight. Interestingly, Kiosse is originally from Kazakhstan, hailing from Makinsk (Akmola region).

Kabdrakhmanov, who was considered a UFC prospect, suffered his third career loss against ten victories. Kiosse celebrated his ninth success in the octagon, along with three wins and one draw.
