The UFC champion reacted anxiously to Rakmonov's plans for a fight for the interim title.

The UFC welterweight champion shared his thoughts on the potential for a fight for the interim title involving Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov, as reported by Vesti.kz.

Previously, due to health issues, Muhammad withdrew from the fight against Rakhmonov, which was scheduled for December 7 at UFC 310.

“A fight for the interim title at UFC 310? Why? I won't be available for six weeks, not months. If they want to fight, let them headline the event. I hold the real title,” Muhammad stated.

Rakhmonov expressed his readiness to compete for the interim title in December against any other contender. Among the candidates for this bout is former UFC welterweight champion, Nigerian fighter Kamaru Usman.
