The official date for the rematch between the Kazakh MMA fighter (25-8) and the Russian fighter (21-3) has been announced, according to a report from the Absolute Championship Akhmat press service. Their rematch, originally scheduled for the ACA 182 tournament in Moscow on December 15, has been postponed due to health issues concerning Artem Reznikov.
Rais Yusufov Vesti.kz reports"The crucial bout between Rais Yusufov and Artem Reznikov has been rescheduled for the upcoming ACA 183 tournament in Krasnodar on February 8."
"The conditions for the fight remain the same as previously announced - welterweight, five rounds," states the promotion's announcement.
Recall that their first bout took place in 2020 and ended with a sensational victory for Reznikov via split decision after three rounds.
The 32-year-old Reznikov secured a decision victory over Mukhamed Kokov in June, breaking a two-fight losing streak. As for the 29-year-old Raisov, he has won two consecutive bouts. After their first meeting, the Kazakh fighter went on to compete in five fights (3-2), while the Russian fought six times (5-1).
