President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited an exhibition of military-industrial complex enterprises held at the "Batajnica" airfield near Belgrade, as reported on the Akorda Telegram channel.

The head of our state was accompanied by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić.

Serbia is a leader in the export of military goods in the region. Currently, the Serbian defense industry supplies its products to approximately 70 countries worldwide, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Bulgaria, and Indonesia.

The exhibition showcased samples of land military equipment, helicopters equipped with Serbian weapons, air defense systems, firearms, all types of artillery ammunition, cartridges, mortar shells, and mortars.

Serbia's extensive experience in this sector is of interest for strengthening Kazakhstan's defense capabilities.

It is worth noting that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan arrived in Serbia for an official visit yesterday. He was welcomed at Belgrade airport by Vučić.

Today, an official ceremony was held in front of the Palace of Serbia to greet the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

In honor of the arrival of the President of Kazakhstan, an honor guard was formed. After the report from the commander of the honor guard, the national anthems of both countries were played, followed by 10 artillery salutes. The presidents then introduced each other to the members of their official delegations.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on social media that he received the famous Almaty apple from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Later, the Telegram channel "Flight No. 1" confirmed that President Tokayev presented Vučić with the Almaty apple as a gift.

Additionally, today, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held negotiations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić in a closed format.

During the joint briefing, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev invited his Serbian counterpart to visit Kazakhstan.
