As of today, farmers in two regions have fully settled their accounts with the Grain Corporation under the forward grain purchase contracts they signed in early spring 2024.

This year, the grain operator allocated 40.7 billion tenge for financing fieldwork. Of this amount, agricultural producers in the East Kazakhstan region received over 1 billion tenge, enabling them to contract the supply of more than 13,000 tons of grain for the upcoming harvest. As of December 25, the agricultural enterprises in the region have fulfilled their obligations to the Grain Corporation.

The farmers of Pavlodar region signed contracts worth 687.1 million tenge. To date, the farms have delivered 8,300 tons of grain to the corporation's elevators, achieving 100% of the contracts under the 2024 forward agreements.

The top three also includes agricultural enterprises from Kostanay region, which have returned 137.4 thousand tons of agricultural products to the Grain Corporation's grain fund, valued at 10.7 billion tenge. This accounts for 96.6% of the contracted volumes under the 2024 forward agreements.

The highest number of applications for forward purchase financing came from farmers in the major grain-producing regions: North Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and Akmola regions. Specifically, farmers in North Kazakhstan contracted products worth 18.8 billion tenge, with a return of 14.8 billion tenge or 190.1 thousand tons under the 2024 forward agreements. Agricultural enterprises in Akmola region received more than 9 billion tenge in state support. To date, they have delivered 93.7 thousand tons of grain to the Grain Corporation's elevators, which constitutes 83% of the contracted volume.

Under the terms of the forward contract, farmers are obliged to return the received funds after the harvest in the form of commodity grain. Since September, 509.2 thousand tons of new harvest grain have been delivered to the Grain Corporation's elevators under forward agreements.

The forward purchase program is implemented annually to support agricultural producers. In 2024, this program financed 324 agricultural enterprises.

Additionally, to assist small and medium-sized farms in selling their products, the Grain Corporation conducts direct purchases of surplus grain. Another program by the grain operator aims to help small agricultural producers sell their crop products in foreign markets. Under the grain export consolidation program, contracts worth 19.5 million dollars have been signed.
