Devastating flood in Spain: Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to the king.

According to the official Telegram channel of Akorda, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended his condolences to King Felipe VI regarding the numerous human casualties resulting from the natural disaster in Spain.

"In this difficult time, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and myself personally, I express my sincere condolences to you and the families of the deceased. I wish a swift recovery to the injured," the telegram states.

It is worth noting that a tornado has caused severe flooding in southeastern Spain: due to heavy rains, rivers have overflowed, causing significant damage to several areas.

Yesterday, it was reported that over 50 people lost their lives as a result of the disaster. Today, it has been revealed that the death toll has reached at least 95 individuals.

The rains have led to power outages, road closures, and the suspension of regular and high-speed train services. Spain's Defense Minister Margarita Robles described the natural disaster in the country as unprecedented. Authorities have warned that the number of victims may rise.

The media and social media users are blaming rescuers for issuing warnings too late, while authorities are criticized for being unprepared for such a disaster overall.
