According to Minister Svetlana Jakupova, the principle of social justice is ingrained in her at a genetic level.
"I was raised this way. As a schoolgirl, I traveled to the district center for my studies, even though there was a school run by my mother nearby. When I asked my parents why I couldn't study with my mom, my dad said: 'You must earn your grades on your own, so that no one can just hand them to you. And this applies to everything,' — noted Jakupova.
She also emphasized that everything depends on a person's values.
"Of course, I earn enough to afford the same vacation abroad, but everyone has different values. For me, it's about my family and loved ones. We try to allocate a certain portion of our earnings for charity, to help relatives, and only for ourselves when it’s truly necessary," — the minister highlighted.
Let’s recall that the head of the Ministry of Labor, Svetlana Jakupova, gave an extensive interview to NUR.KZ, in which she discussed why Kazakhstanis turn their noses up at the jobs offered by the state, whether large families can expect new support measures, and much more.
