A ceremonial guard was formed in honor of the arrival of the President of Kazakhstan. Following the report from the commander of the honor guard, the national anthems of both countries were played, and 10 artillery salutes were fired. After that, the presidents introduced each other to the members of their official delegations.
Upon the conclusion of the ceremony, the heads of state proceeded to the negotiation hall.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Serbia yesterday for an official visit. He was welcomed at Belgrade airport by Vučić.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić announced on social media that he received the famous Almaty apricot from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Later, the Telegram channel "Board No. 1" confirmed that President Tokayev presented Vučić with the Almaty apricot as a gift.
It is worth noting that the Serbian president invited Tokayev to Belgrade back in February of this year during a phone call initiated by Belgrade. Both sides expressed interest in strengthening business ties and implementing joint investment projects in the fields of industry, agriculture, transport, and logistics.
In May, the Akorda press service announced that the head of state would visit Serbia in the second half of the year.
