Tokaev will visit France and meet with Macron.

According to the press service of the President of Kazakhstan, Tokayev will arrive in France at the invitation of the Republic's leader, Emmanuel Macron. The visit is scheduled for November 4-5.

"During the visit, high-level negotiations will take place aimed at further developing cooperation in the fields of trade, economy, investment, and cultural-humanitarian areas."

"Additionally, the President of Kazakhstan will hold a series of meetings with representatives of French business circles," – reported Akorda.

The last time Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made an official visit to France was in November 2022. At that time, the heads of state held talks, during which our president invited Macron to Kazakhstan.

Nearly a year later, another meeting between Tokayev and Macron took place, this time in Kazakhstan. Tokayev described Macron's visit as historic; the latter stated after negotiations with the President of Kazakhstan that his country aligns with our state's strategy "to not be a vassal of any powers but to maintain balanced relations with various countries."

Later, the heads of state held further negotiations and also participated in a business forum. During that time, the President of France visited a special exhibition called "Ethnoaul," where he tried his hand at the national game "asyq atu."

In February of this year, it became known that the President of Kazakhstan gifted Emmanuel Macron puppies of the Tazy breed, which he found appealing at an exhibition in Astana. Since then, numerous pictures of Macron with the gifted dogs have surfaced online.
