The President noted the productive and substantive nature of the discussions with Aleksandar Vučić. In particular, agreements were reached to enhance trade and economic ties.

"The priority areas of our cooperation are investments, industry, the mining sector, agriculture, and healthcare. Special attention was given to innovations and new technologies. Authorized agencies have been tasked with increasing the volumes of mutual trade. Kazakhstan is ready to export a range of industrial, food, and other goods to Serbia. Serbia also has significant potential for exporting products to Kazakhstan. We agreed to make the most of the existing opportunities, and this should be facilitated by the activation of the Intergovernmental Commission's activities. A decision was also made to resume the work of the Business Council," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev reported.

According to him, new joint projects are planned to be implemented in fields such as industry, transport and logistics, "green" energy, as well as the defense industry.

The president specifically addressed cooperation in the agro-industrial complex.

"Given the extensive experience that Serbia has accumulated in agriculture, we agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial ties. Agreements have been reached on the exchange of experiences in veterinary matters, the expansion of genetic resources, organic farming, and plant biotechnology. The importance of establishing partnerships between educational institutions and research organizations in the agricultural field was also highlighted," continued the head of state.

Additionally, he mentioned that the Serbian side was invited to develop joint activities in the sectors of healthcare, information technology, space, and tourism.

The President expressed sincere gratitude to the Serbian people and personally to President Aleksandar Vučić for the financial assistance provided to Kazakhstan during the unprecedented floods in the spring of this year.

As Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized, cultural and humanitarian ties between Astana and Belgrade are becoming increasingly significant. He stated Kazakhstan's readiness to implement joint educational, scientific, and cultural projects.

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated Serbia on receiving the right to host the EXPO-2027 exhibition.

"This decision is a vivid testament to the high international authority of Serbia and its President Aleksandar Vučić. I am confident that the large-scale event, which will be held under the motto 'A Game for Humanity: Sports and Music for All,' will give a new impetus to the development of friendly relations and cooperation in culture and sports between our countries. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank our Serbian friends for their active participation in the V World Nomad Games," he said.

During the negotiations, there was also an exchange of views on global and regional security.
