According to Akorda's Telegram channel, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Viktor Orban discussed pressing issues on the bilateral agenda, highlighting the high level of strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Hungary.
Special attention was given to the effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, particularly in the areas of energy, finance, and investment. The importance of continuing joint efforts to achieve mutually beneficial results in bilateral cooperation was emphasized.
The parties also exchanged views on current global and regional issues, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation within international organizations.
At the end of the conversation, the head of state confirmed the invitation for the Prime Minister of Hungary to make a reciprocal visit to Kazakhstan.
Recall that on November 19, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a state visit to Hungary. He was welcomed at Budapest airport by Viktor Orban.
Later, Akorda displayed footage from the official welcoming ceremony for President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev at the Lion Courtyard of the Royal Palace in Budapest.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also interacted with Kazakh students in Budapest and later took a joint tour with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, Laszlo Kever, through the Hungarian Parliament building.
Prior to this, the President of Kazakhstan and Prime Minister Viktor Orban attended a football match between the national teams of Hungary and Germany.

At the reception, Tokayev noted that Kazakhs and Hungarians are related peoples, connected by deep historical roots. According to the President, despite the geographical distance between the great Danube and ancient Altai, our states, united by a shared destiny, have common goals and aspirations.
