Tokaev has assigned tasks to the new Minister of Justice.

The President was briefed on the main areas of activity of the justice authorities, as well as the goals and objectives of the ministry in the context of the message: "Fair Kazakhstan: law and order, economic growth, public optimism."

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of legislative activities, ensure the rule of law, and foster a fair and secure society.

The head of state emphasized the importance of prioritizing the rights and interests of citizens in the process of forming the legal system.

As a result of the meeting, the president issued several directives.

It is worth noting that on January 9, the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Erlan Sarsembayev as the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Prior to this, he served as a judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan—one of the three judges elected by the Senate.

On the same day, by the decree of the head of state, Azamat Eskaraev was relieved of his duties as Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
