Tokaev instructed the chief of police in the Almaty region.

In the Telegram channel Akordy, it is reported that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Deputy Chairman of the National Security Committee Kanat Dalmata, the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Baurzhan Alenov, and the Head of the Almaty Region Police Department Meiram Abikeev.

"During the meeting, the head of state issued a number of instructions regarding the supervised areas of activity of the relevant agencies," it is stated in the message.

It should be noted that Abikeev was appointed to this position last month with the agreement of the RK President's Administration by order of the Minister of Internal Affairs. Previously, he served as the Deputy Head of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department.

Additionally, personnel changes occurred in the National Security Committee, after which Kanat Dalmata was appointed as Deputy Chairman on October 19 of this year.

Prior to this, there were reports of personnel changes in the Almaty Region Police Department. Several high-ranking police officials were relieved of their positions, including the former head of the Organized Crime Unit, Dulat Kair, and his deputy, Zhanat Omarov. At the same time, recently, Police Major Baizhan Satylganov was appointed as the acting head of the Organized Crime Unit of the Almaty Region Police Department.

Baurzhan Alenov was appointed as the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan on October 7 of this year. A few days after his appointment, he visited the Almaty region, to the burned house of the family of the deceased Sherzat Bolat - a 16-year-old teenager who tragically died after a scuffle in Talgar on the night of October 4. The tragedy resonated throughout Kazakhstan.
