"Ashimbaev stated that neither Azerbaijan, Russia, nor Kazakhstan has any interest in concealing information regarding the plane crash in Aktau."

Maulen Ashimbaev noted that the nature of the aircraft's damage and the causes of the crash are currently unknown. He reminded that a special commission is currently working, with representatives from the relevant structures of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Russia involved.

"Making any conclusions based on photographs, suggesting that this is the result of certain actions, and so on - this is speculation and unfounded statements. Promoting such assessments is incorrect and unethical. This primarily indicates that certain individuals want to gain some dividends for themselves, create hype, and obtain something for themselves, including views," Ashimbaev stated regarding the arguments about the causes of the damage to the downed aircraft.

According to the chairman of the Senate, none of the countries whose citizens were on board the downed aircraft are interested in hiding the results of the investigation.

"The commission, specialists are working, experts are examining everything, and they will draw their conclusions. Of course, none of these countries - neither Azerbaijan, nor Russia, nor Kazakhstan - are interested in concealing information. All information will be made public. No one should have any doubts. We must allow specialists to draw conclusions and communicate them to the public," Ashimbaev added.

It is worth noting that yesterday, rumors about the downed aircraft near Aktau being shot down were commented on by Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev. He also stated that specialists will investigate the situation.

On December 25, an aircraft flying from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau. There were 69 people on board, including 5 crew members. Among them were 42 citizens of Azerbaijan, 15 citizens of Russia, 6 citizens of Kazakhstan, and 3 citizens of Kyrgyzstan.

Currently, it is known that 38 people on board the aircraft have died. All six Kazakhstanis aboard are listed as deceased. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has released the names of the deceased Kazakhs, including a child.

Reports indicated that the police have begun an investigation into the tragedy - a case has been opened under the article "Violation of safety rules during the operation of a vehicle, resulting in the negligent death of two or more persons."

Additionally, it was reported the day before that a government commission has been established to investigate the causes of the air crash. We also noted that a local state of emergency has been declared in the area near Aktau where the crash occurred.

Today, mourning has been declared in Azerbaijan. It was also reported that the company Embraer made a statement regarding the crash of its aircraft near Aktau.

Today, the Ministry of Transport announced that a delegation from the State Agency for Civil Aviation of Azerbaijan and representatives of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) have arrived in Kazakhstan.

Furthermore, today doctors provided the latest information regarding the condition of the injured. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported that out of the 38 deceased, 7 individuals have been identified.

Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov has today instructed to conduct an unscheduled inspection of airports in the country.
