"By the decree of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Nurpeisov has been relieved of his duties as Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations," - reported the press service of the government.
It should be noted that Yerlan Nurpeisov was appointed Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations in September 2023.
He was born in 1971 in the East Kazakhstan region. He graduated from the Almaty Technical Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
He began his career in 1992 as an engineer in the service for fire preparation and extinguishing, fire equipment, and communication means in the fire safety department of the Internal Affairs Directorate.
From 1993 to 1997, he served as an engineer and senior engineer in the fire extinguishing organization department of the State Fire Service Directorate of East Kazakhstan Region.
From 1997 to 2000, he worked as a senior engineer in the material and technical support department of the State Fire Service of East Kazakhstan Region.
From 2000 to 2002, he was a senior engineer in the fire extinguishing organization department of the Operational Management of the State Fire Service of East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2002-2005, he served as the chief specialist in the fire extinguishing organization and emergency rescue operations department of the operational management of the main department of the State Fire Service of East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2005-2006, he was the deputy head of the department coordinating the activities of fire and emergency rescue units of the Department for State Control and Supervision in the field of emergency situations of East Kazakhstan Region.
In 2006-2007, he served as the deputy head of the Fire Service Department of East Kazakhstan Region.
From 2007 to 2012, he was the head of the State Institution "Firefighting and Emergency Rescue Service" of the Department of Emergency Situations of East Kazakhstan Region.
From 2012 to 2018, he served as the deputy head of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty.
From 2018 to 2020, he was the head of the Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty Region.
From September 2020 until his appointment as Deputy Minister, he held the position of head of the Department of Emergency Situations of East Kazakhstan Region.
