"We are conducting systematic work to provide the capital with additional life support facilities. These facilities enable the city to receive heat, water, electricity, and more. Thanks to newly commissioned facilities such as the gas thermal power stations "Turan" and "Southeast," as well as TPP-3 (first stage), the heating season in the city is proceeding as planned. These life support facilities have provided the city with over 1100 Gcal/hour.
To ensure additional heating supply for the city in the coming years, the construction of a new gas thermal power station "Telmana" has already begun. Currently, construction and installation work is underway for the foundation and pile driving. This project will provide the capital with stable heating for an additional 80,000 residents. We plan to complete the construction of the GTP "Telmana" by 2026.
Furthermore, this year we aim to complete the construction of TPP-3, which has become somewhat of a long-term project. The first stage of this facility was completed and put into operation in the fall of 2023.
We are also systematically working on electricity networks. We are constructing several electrical substations. For instance, the "Arai" substation is already 96% complete. This project will provide the capital with uninterrupted, high-quality electricity supply with a capacity of 80 MVA. We plan to finish it in the first half of this year.
Additionally, we are constructing the "Kazbek" substation. This project will ensure reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply with a capacity of 80 MVA for the "Zhelezhnodorozhny" residential area. The completion of this facility is planned for 2026.
The quality of life in the city primarily depends on the operation of life support facilities," — wrote the mayor of the capital.
