The former head of the education department has been appointed as an advisor to the Akim of Aktobe region.

Zhayyk Sultan, who led the education department since April 2023, resigned on January 6 of this year at his own request. It has now been revealed that he has been appointed as an advisor to the akim of the Aktobe region on social issues.

"This position is part-time," - clarified the akimat of the region.

The beginning of the year coincided with personnel changes. Five regional departments (out of a total of 24) are currently without leaders.

Among them are the sports department, the department of natural resources and environmental regulation, as well as the departments of education and health. So far, no one has been appointed to the new department created at the end of last year for mobilization preparation.

It was previously reported that Zhayyk Sultan left the position of head of the Education Department of the Aktobe region. In his statement, the official thanked his colleagues for their support.

Recently, in agreement with the head of state, by the order of the Attorney General, Senior Justice Advisor Marat Abishev was appointed as the prosecutor of the Aktobe region. Prior to this, he held the position of head of the Public Interests Protection Service of the General Prosecutor's Office.
