A government official from the Pavlodar region was dismissed for taking on a side job.

The agency reported that special attention is also given to upholding the principles of legality and intolerance towards violations. Last year, 35 public officials were held accountable through disciplinary measures.

Among them was the chief specialist of the Maiksy District Territorial Inspection of the Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the Law "On Public Service," officials are prohibited from engaging in any other paid activities, except for teaching, scientific, or other creative work.

However, a 34-year-old public servant was found to be advertising training on how to independently order goods from marketplaces on social media. After a year of work, she was dismissed for negative reasons.

It is worth noting that last year, a former police officer in the Pavlodar region was denied reinstatement. He had previously been fired for alleged alcohol consumption.

Additionally, the head of the Department of the Committee for Industrial Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Pavlodar region and his deputy were dismissed following the sentencing of an employee.

The head of that department received a sentence of 3 years in prison. He was accused of receiving a bribe of 1.3 million tenge from a company director for general protection during annual inspections in the field of industrial safety.
