Neo Nomad introduces a visa for digital nomads in Kazakhstan.
To obtain a Neo Nomad visa, a foreigner must have a stable income of at least $3,000 outside of Kazakhstan, according to Orda.kz, referencing the Ministry of Tourism.

With this visa, travelers who work remotely can stay in Kazakhstan for up to one year.
“It is expected that the economic impact of the visa introduction will be around 3.6 billion tenge annually if 500 individuals obtain the visa. Foreigners taking advantage of the Neo Nomad visa will live and spend money in Kazakhstan without occupying jobs in the domestic labor market, which is considered an important aspect of the program,” officials from the Ministry of Tourism state.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerbol Myrzabosynov, Kazakhstan aims to create all necessary conditions to attract digital nomads to our country.
Citizens from 80 countries, including Austria, Canada, the USA, Singapore, and others can enter Kazakhstan without a visa. The duration of stay is 14, 30, or 90 days. The list can be viewed here.
