A major drug lab was uncovered in Karaganda.
During the search, over a ton of precursors and more than 10 kg of the finished narcotic substance "alpha-PVP" were seized. This operation helped prevent the release of approximately 500,000 doses of synthetic drugs onto the black market, reports Orda.kz, citing the press service of the Karaganda region police.

During the search of the residence, the following items were seized:
- six wooden barrels containing precursors;
- 35 glass trays filled with a liquid, presumably containing a psychotropic substance in the drying process;
- 33 canisters with an unknown liquid;
- four bags of powdered substance;
- five gas masks with filters;
- three vacuum-sealed bags containing approximately three kg of finished alpha-PVP narcotic;
- equipment for drug production;
- scales, mobile phones, a computer tower, and other items associated with illegal activities.
According to police reports, the individual involved in the criminal case has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Expert examinations of the seized substances have been ordered, and further investigation is underway.
