The Astana Prosecutor's Office has determined that the contractor commenced construction and installation works without having approved project and estimate documentation that has undergone mandatory examination, as well as without accompanying technical and authorial supervision and notification of the start of work. All of this contradicts the requirements of the Law on "Architectural, Urban Planning, and Construction Activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan."
Previously, we reported that in Almaty, the residential complex "French House" is being demolished in the Karagayly microdistrict at the foot of the Zailiysky Alatau. The city administration stated that the developer began construction without an architectural and planning assignment, approval of the sketch project, examination of the project documentation, and notification of the start of work. These violations served as the basis for a court ruling on the demolition. The court ordered the demolition of the facility back in November 2023. The developer's attempt to appeal this decision in the appellate instance was unsuccessful.
