Upon inspection, it was discovered that the contractor simply forgot to design a detour road. As a result, trucks carrying sand and gravel drove directly over the freshly laid asphalt. Ultimately, the fate of the road surface was unfortunate. This is even more concerning given that the warranty for the quality of work was only one year instead of the required two years. Now, the contractor will have to answer in court for the substandard repairs.
“Following the analysis, the Akimat of Aktobe region has revised the warranty periods for the medium repairs, and regarding the restoration of the road surface, a lawsuit has been filed against the contractor,” the Anti-Corruption Agency reported.
In November, we reported how an employee of the contracting company attempted to demolish a building that he was supposed to construct.
