“Originally, the evacuation was scheduled for midnight, then it was postponed to three in the morning, and later to six. A representative of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that the parties struggled to reach an agreement. The injured were reluctantly released from the hospital, possibly because the doctors were hesitant to send them away so quickly,” said the source.
On board, the Russians were accompanied by specialists from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, including psychologists.
