In rural areas, there is the highest demand for medical professionals in Akmolinsk — 116 doctors, in Turkestan — 135 doctors, and ZKO requires 89 doctors.
The First Deputy Minister of Health, Timur Sultangaziev, spoke at an off-site Senate meeting in the Abay region, stating that one-third of medical university graduates do not accept placements. They opt for private medical organizations instead.
To address this situation, the Ministry of Health proposes to regain control over the personal placement of young specialists.
Additionally, the Ministry of Health will introduce a comprehensive package of additional incentive measures to retain staff in local areas and enhance the prestige of medical professions in rural settings.
