According to her, they are very calm and friendly towards people. They have all been living together for a long time, getting along peacefully, and even have all the necessary documents. Therefore, Anastasia Svinzova was greatly surprised when she learned that she had violated the law and had now received a fine for it. She shared what happened on her social media page.

It turns out that her animals were reported by neighbors—allegedly, the pets made noise while their owner was away. The police officer drew up a report, and the case materials were sent to court. As a result, the woman was fined 78,000 tenge. It should be noted that according to pet ownership rules, leaving animals unattended is prohibited. If an owner needs to leave, they are required to transfer their pets to a shelter, a pet hotel, or ask someone to look after them.

- I just went to work, and now I’m being blamed. I don’t understand what my fault is, what should I do now? Not work? Or should I put my dogs in a hotel while I’m at the office? - Anastasia complains.

She believes that such rules do not take into account the realities of pet owners' lives.

- If the barking bothers the neighbors, let’s address that issue rather than fining pet owners simply for having pets, - says Anastasia.

She has already filed an appeal. She also installed a video camera in the hallway to prove that her beloved pets do not cause problems for the neighbors. Will this case be an isolated incident, or will pet owners really have to look for sitters for their pets from now on? Opinions among Kazakhstanis on social media are divided—some believe that dogs should only be kept if you live in a private house. Others are convinced that we should treat our smaller brothers with love and care, and approach such situations with understanding. They believe the fine was unjustified, and that the police should focus on real crimes.

By the way, dog sitters, also known as pet nannies, charge quite a bit for their services. For instance, a one-hour dog walk typically costs between 4,000 and 7,000 tenge, while taking a dog under supervision for an entire day can cost 15,000 to 20,000 tenge. Perhaps animal lovers should take note of this.
