The flooding is caused by water overflowing from the irrigation ditches, reports Orda.kz, citing the city administration.

“We issued them fines back in early January, and today we will be imposing additional penalties,” the agency commented.
Currently, there is no threat of flooding, and work is underway to clean the ditches. The situation is under the control of the akimat.
