Kazakhstan has expanded the options for digitizing educational documents.

Now, it is possible not only to correct incorrect information but also to apply for the creation of a digital version of the document.

In particular, Kazakhstani citizens now have access to a service for digitizing educational documents. It is now possible not only to correct incorrect data but also to submit a request for the creation of a digital version of the document. This service is available provided that a scanned copy of the previously obtained diploma is available.

The state service "Update (Correction) of Information on Educational Documents" has been expanded. Previously, it was only possible to correct inaccurate information, but now there is the option to apply for the digitization of an educational document.

To use the service, you need to:

  • log in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the "Citizens" section - "Education";
  • select the service "Update (Correction) of Information on Educational Documents" and click "Order Service Online";
  • choose the application type "Digitization of Information on Educational Documents," specify the type of educational document, and attach a scanned copy of the educational document;
  • the result of the service will be available in the user's personal account, under the "Service History" section.

"The digitization of educational documents is carried out in stages. Currently, documents related to secondary education, technical, and vocational education issued from 1980 to 2023 are subject to digitization. The service will be provided within 5 working days," the message states.

Refusal to provide the service may occur if the authenticity of the submitted documents or data is found to be unreliable.
