A request has been made in Kazakhstan to establish a new center in the aviation sector.

The senator also believes that a separate airfield equipped with the necessary specialized facilities should be constructed alongside the academy.
В Казахстане выступают с инициативой о создании нового центра в сфере авиации.

“Currently, there is a slight progress in the aviation industry; however, there is a lack of acquisition of new aircraft in efforts to improve maintenance quality and implement international aviation organization standards to ensure flight safety,” informed Nurtore Zhusip in a deputy request addressed to the Prime Minister.

Today, according to him, some regions are facing complex issues such as weak airport infrastructure, insufficient number of carriers in the domestic market, and inflated prices for fuel and airline tickets.

He highlighted that one of the most critical issues is the training of civil aviation specialists who meet international requirements. The senator added that he visited the Civil Aviation Academy, met with students and faculty, and reviewed the material and technical base of the educational institution.

The deputy believes that there is an urgent need for the preparation of advanced professionals who can adapt to industry changes considering digitalization and unmanned systems.

“To achieve this, it is necessary to obtain certification according to EASA standards and establish a drone aviation center at the academy. For a high level of specialist training, the academy needs to develop in accordance with global standards and best practices. Additionally, the academy requires the construction of a separate airfield with specialized equipment, as well as the implementation of projects to expand the educational and laboratory base and equip it with modern simulators,” said Zhusip.

The deputy request also emphasized the need to create competitive working conditions for the teaching staff to attract and retain highly qualified personnel, engage leading domestic and foreign experts, and to enhance the role of the academy as a strategic center for personnel training, consider granting it a special status.
