Courier and postal services have seen growth in Kazakhstan.

From January to October 2024, the volume of postal services has increased. Over the span of 10 months, the volume of services has grown by 6.4% compared to the same period last year.

“The total volume of services provided amounted to 64.4 billion tenge, of which 17 billion tenge were rendered to the population. By region, the majority of postal and courier service volume is concentrated in the cities of Almaty (56.8%), Astana (13.8%), and Karaganda region (3.7%),” the report states.

It is noteworthy that the tariffs for postal services remained unchanged year-on-year (October 2024 compared to October 2023), while courier services saw a price increase of 2.4%. Among these, the rates for delivering parcels and packages across the republic rose the most, by 2.9%.
