At Budapest Airport, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was welcomed by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, as reported on the Akorda Telegram channel.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold talks with President Tamás Sulyok and Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, during which the future prospects for the development of strategic partnership between the countries in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian areas will be discussed.
The President of Kazakhstan also plans to meet with Hungarian business leaders.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán visited Astana in November of last year. At that time, negotiations between the two leaders took place in a narrow format, followed by a broader discussion. The Hungarian Prime Minister expressed gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the fraternal people of Kazakhstan for their warm welcome.
As a result of that meeting, a memorandum of understanding in the field of education was signed. Additionally, Tokayev awarded Orbán with the Order of Dostyk I degree.
