The Kazakh fighter (17-9) has signed a contract for four fights with the Russian promotion Fight Night, reports SPORT+ citing the league.
Zhalgas ZhumagulovUnder the contract, Zhalgas is expected to compete in MMA and boxing matches throughout 2025.
Zhumagulov's last fight took place in Oktagon. On November 9 in Bratislava (Slovakia), Zhumagulov won by unanimous decision in a bloody battle against Welshman Aaron Aby (16-10) during the Oktagon 63 tournament.
This was the 36-year-old Zhumagulov's first fight in the Czech-Slovak promotion. As for the 34-year-old Aby, he has fought for the organization's championship title twice but lost both times.
It is worth noting that Zhumagulov previously fought seven times in the UFC, achieving one victory and suffering six defeats.
Additionally, Zhalgas is a former Fight Night champion. He left that promotion to join the UFC.
Zhumagulov complained about the promotion after his debut, claiming they "shortchanged" him on money.
