It is known that the cotton complex will feature 11 workshops: spinning, fabric production, dyeing, and processing.
“The production capacity will reach 13,000 tons of yarn per year, 50 million meters of home textiles, and 7 million sets of bed linen. More than 2,000 jobs will be created,” reported the Ministry of Agriculture.
It is stated that the produced fabrics and threads will be sold to globally renowned luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci.
By 2027, it is planned to establish nine cotton clusters, which should eliminate dependence on cotton prices.
Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture signed another cooperation agreement with PepsiCo. Chips will be made from Kazakh potatoes under the Lay’s brand.
