Three people lost their lives when the Kia driver failed to complete an overtaking maneuver on the highway.
A head-on collision between a passenger car and a KamAZ truck occurred near the village of Tlektes in the Akkol district of Pavlodar region, according to Orda.kz.

“As a result of the accident, the driver of the Kia and two passengers died at the scene. Another passenger was injured and hospitalized. The vehicles have been taken to a special impound lot, and a criminal case has been initiated,” reported the police of Pavlodar region.
012Similar accidents have occurred before. In April 2023, in the Otyrar district of the Turkestan region, three people also died as a result of a collision between a passenger car and a truck on the Torkol — Shaulder — Turkestan — Kentau road. The police registered the incident under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
