Dear compatriots! I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the New Year!

We are entering a year that crowns the first quarter of this century. It is significant that all residents of our country, from Altai to Atyrau, simultaneously turn a new page in the calendar.

Our people have always welcomed this holiday with enthusiasm. Looking back, we summarize the past year, set new goals, and gaze into the future with great hopes.

On this truly family holiday, I first want to wish peace and prosperity to our country and well-being to all citizens.

This year has been filled with important events. The comprehensive reforms we initiated have begun to bear their first fruits.

We have taken decisive steps in implementing a new economic course. The manufacturing industry has seen dynamic growth, large industrial enterprises have been launched, and the investment climate has improved.

Thousands of kilometers of roads have been reconstructed, and the longest bridge in the country has been built. Our farmers have gathered a record harvest.

Thanks to the "Taza Kazakhstan" initiative, the appearance of cities and villages has begun to transform.

For the first time, the average life expectancy of citizens has reached 75 years.

Much has been done to ensure a bright future for the younger generation. Part of the National Fund's resources has begun to be deposited into children's accounts. Over a hundred new schools have been opened, and numerous social facilities have been constructed.

Parliament deputies have passed laws addressing pressing societal issues.

A referendum was held where we made a very important decision regarding the future of our country. The majority of our citizens supported the construction of a nuclear power plant.

Kazakhstan's authority on the world stage has significantly strengthened, with landmark summits of influential international organizations taking place in Astana.

Thousands of athletes and foreign guests gathered for the World Nomad Games, organized at the highest level. The competitions showcased the uniqueness and originality of the nomadic civilization to the world.

Thanks to the victories of Kazakhstani athletes, our turquoise flag waved at the arenas of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Our schoolchildren also won numerous medals at international intellectual Olympiads.

These are far from all our achievements that we can rightfully be proud of.

As you know, last spring, several regions were affected by large-scale flooding, which posed a severe test for the country. However, despite the difficulties, our people demonstrated solidarity and unwavering unity. All those affected received the necessary assistance. The state did not leave anyone unattended, fulfilling all its obligations. Today, hundreds of families are celebrating the New Year in new homes. Thanks to such cohesion, we overcome all challenges and look confidently to the future.

We will continue systemic reforms and implement all planned initiatives. As president, I will do my utmost to ensure that the coming year is even more fruitful.

The government will need to carry out effective work to ensure steady growth of our economy.

New production facilities must be opened, business conditions improved, roads constructed, and communal issues resolved.

It is essential to expand the use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence. We must strengthen support for our farmers.

In all this work, the main goal is to enhance the well-being of citizens.

The state will pay increased attention to the development of education, healthcare, science, and culture.

We will continue to build new schools and hospitals, raise the status of teachers, doctors, scientists, and cultural workers. And, of course, the state will support the youth.

Next year, we will celebrate several significant anniversaries. We will honor the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory with dignity. We will hold high-level celebrations for the 30th anniversaries of the Constitution and the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. We must also responsibly approach the celebration of the 180th anniversary of the great Abai.

In recognition of the contributions of working people, I have declared the upcoming year as the Year of Working Professions. Special attention will be given to promoting values such as patriotism, diligence, and professionalism in society.

Right now, despite the holiday, thousands of our compatriots are at their workplaces, serving the nation.

Among them are border guards, doctors, law enforcement officers, rescuers, firefighters, manufacturers, and representatives of other professions who set a true example of dedication to their work. On behalf of all the people, I express my sincere gratitude to you.

I also want to extend my best wishes to our fellow citizens studying or working abroad!
