At Belgrade airport, the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was welcomed by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
️In Serbian airspace, the aircraft of our head of state was escorted by fighter jets from the host country's air force.
️The central focus of the visit's agenda will be high-level negotiations. The presidents will discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the political, trade-economic, transport-logistics, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Following the negotiations, several bilateral agreements are expected to be signed. A meeting with the Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, is also scheduled.
Recall that in February, there was a phone conversation between the head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and President Aleksandar Vučić. During that call, the President of Serbia invited Tokayev to visit Belgrade.
In May of this year, during a phone call, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Aleksandar Vučić discussed issues related to enhancing bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of previously reached agreements and organizing the visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Belgrade in the second half of the year.
