Dangerous bandits who terrorized the residents of Astana have been apprehended by security forces.

The detainees are suspected of serious crimes. In one instance, they assaulted a person, threatened him, and then stole five million tenge and a Toyota SUV from him.

“In another incident near one of the banks, the criminals stole six million tenge from a local resident. They did not hide their intentions,”
said Kuan-dyk Alpyss, a representative of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The police are conducting a pre-trial investigation into the facts of extortion and robbery. All members of the criminal group are in custody.
