Train and truck collision in Atyrau: passenger train services have been restored.
Restoration work has been completed at the Tendik station in the Atyrau region, where a collision occurred between a cargo truck and a freight train, reports Orda.kz correspondent.

“Earthworks and the installation of a rail-sleeper grid for the new track on the damaged section, spanning 200 meters, were carried out promptly. A total of 167 railway workers, two recovery trains, and six pieces of road machinery participated in the restoration efforts. In collaboration with the Atyrau region akimat, transportation for passengers of the delayed trains was organized using buses from the Karabatan station to the city of Atyrau. Hot meals were provided to the passengers,”
reported the press service of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”.
The cause of the incident was that the driver of the truck violated the rules for crossing the railway crossing.
