Kazakhstan's military strength ranking for 2025 has been revealed.

The armed forces of Kazakhstan have moved up one spot in the Global Firepower 2025 ranking, maintaining their leadership among Central Asian countries. This information is reflected in the updated data released on the Global Firepower website.

Global Firepower has released its updated military strength ranking for 2025, in which Kazakhstan has strengthened its position. In 2025, Kazakhstan ranked 57th out of 145 countries considered in the ranking.

As noted by the "Center for Military-Strategic Studies of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the country has moved up one spot compared to last year, reaffirming its status as a leading military power in Central Asia.

The CMS also listed key indicators that have secured such a high position for the country:

"Kazakhstan stands out clearly among other Central Asian countries due to its strategy of increasing military resources and investing in the future of its army. While its neighbors face various challenges, Kazakhstan confidently strengthens its position as the regional leader, actively modernizing its military and adapting to new global security challenges," experts from the Center for Military-Strategic Studies of the Republic of Kazakhstan noted.

In November of last year, the military strength ranking by the U.S. News portal placed Kazakhstan in the third decade. Among Central Asian countries, it ranked second.
