Twelve judges in Kazakhstan may soon lose their positions.
The reasons for the dismissal were discussed at the latest meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council of Kazakhstan, as reported by Orda.kz.

“Recommendations for the positions of judges in district courts and equivalent courts have been given to 126 individuals, of which 98 are first-time recommended lawyers and 28 are current judges,” the message states.
A total of 91 judges have been included in the personnel reserve, while 12 have been recommended for dismissal. The main reasons include:
- due to the enforcement of a court verdict — 1;
- in connection with retirement — 3;
- at their own request — 5;
- for disciplinary violations — 3.
