At the first UFC tournament in 2025 in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA), a co-main event took place in the welterweight division between Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio (31-8) and Guyanese Carlton Harris (19-7), as reported by Vesti.kz.
Ponzinibbio finished Harris in the third round. Carlton fought valiantly, falling several times after precise strikes from his opponent, and was pinned against the cage and finished, prompting the referee to step in and stop the fight.
Although Harris came close to an early victory in the first round, seriously staggering the Argentine, he couldn't secure the finish. Ponzinibbio celebrated his 31st career win against eight losses. For Harris, this marks his seventh loss out of 19 victories.
