Road conditions in Kazakhstan: Due to inclement weather, highways have been closed in two regions.
As of the morning of March 2, restrictions have been implemented for vehicle traffic on two republican highways, according to Orda.kz, citing "KazAvtoZhol."

- Section 776–1240 kilometers, from Aktobe to the border of the Kyzylorda region on the highway Border of the Russian Federation — Martuk — Aktobe — Karabutak — Kyzylorda — Shymkent — Taraz — Korday — Almaty — Khorgos — border of the PRC.
- Section 14–104 kilometers from the city Aktobe to the city of Kandyagash on the highway Aktobe — Kandyagash — Dossor — Atyrau — border of the Russian Federation, for cargo and public transportation.
Kyzylorda Region:
- Section 1240–1362 kilometers, from the border of the Aktobe region to Aralsk on the highway Border of the Russian Federation — Martuk — Aktobe — Karabutak — Kyzylorda — Shymkent — Taraz — Korday — Almaty — Khorgos — border of the PRC.
Road clearing is being carried out by 376 specialists with the involvement of 206 units of special equipment.
