Ramil Kamalov has been appointed as the Deputy Minister for Emergency Situations.

According to a government decree in Kazakhstan, Ramil Kamalov has been appointed as the Vice Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as reported by NUR.KZ citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"By a government decree of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Vice Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been appointed Kamalov Ramil Fatkulovich , who previously held the position of Chairman of the Committee for Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan," - states the agency's message.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ramil Kamalov was born in 1976 in the Akmolinsk region. He holds a higher specialized education.

Kamalov has been in the civil protection authorities since September 1993. He has progressed from a state fire supervision inspector to the Chairman of the Committee for Fire Safety.

He led the Department for Emergency Situations in the North Kazakhstan region.

In September 2023, we reported that Ramil Kamalov was appointed as the Chairman of the Committee for Fire Safety of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.

A month earlier, it became known that Erlan Nurpeisov was relieved of his duties as Vice Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a position he held since the fall of 2023.
