According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ramil Kamalov was born in 1976 in the Akmolinsk region. He holds a higher specialized education.
Kamalov has been in the civil protection authorities since September 1993. He has progressed from a state fire supervision inspector to the Chairman of the Committee for Fire Safety.
He led the Department for Emergency Situations in the North Kazakhstan region.
