The Kazakh UFC fighter (18-0) shared a post on social media ahead of his return to the octagon, reports Vesti.kz.

"The Nomad is chasing the next victory," his message on Instagram states.

Rakhmonov will make his comeback in the octagon at UFC 310 on December 7 in Las Vegas (USA), where he will face undefeated Irishman Ian Machado Gary (15-0) in the co-main event. The fight is scheduled for five rounds.

Rakhmonov has not fought since December 2023, when he finished American Stephen Thompson (17-8-1) in the second round.

In the UFC welterweight rankings, Rakhmonov is in third place, while Gary is in seventh. The division champion is Belal Muhammad (24-3), with whom the Kazakh was supposed to fight in the main event of UFC 310, but the bout was canceled due to health issues faced by the American of Palestinian descent. Gary stepped in as his replacement.
